The team at Tank-Ha Dive Center are our go-to for Cozumel, especially if you’re keen to dive the big walls with a personal touch. They’ve been around since '90, and it shows in their smooth operation and the way they know the currents and the reefs inside out. We especially love their focus on smaller groups, which means no more than four divers to an instructor or guide – a real luxury when you’re drifting along Palancar or Santa Rosa Wall. They really shine with their guided dives. We’ve had some incredible encounters there, like watching a hawksbill turtle browse a sponge garden in almost absolute stillness, or following a massive green moray eel as it snaked between coral heads. Their instructors are solid, teaching both PADI and SDI, so whether you’re looking to get certified or just want to brush up on your Nitrox skills, you’re in good hands.
