With 177+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, bull sharks, dolphins, eagle rays and nurse sharks - Los Arcos offers some of Cozumel's richest diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
Los Arcos sits just north of San Miguel, a solid choice when you want to stay close to town. We usually find gentle currents here, making it a good spot for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed multi-level profile. You'll drift past decent coral formations and keep an eye out for plenty of grunt and snapper schooling around the smaller arches and swim-throughs. It’s a pleasant, easy dive, though not one for big pelagic encounters.
