Cenote Nicte Ha - Yucatán Cenotes

Gili Biaha, just off Candidasa, offers a solid dive, especially if you’re into a bit of cave exploration. The main draw is that cave entrance at 12 meters on the eastern wall, a neat swim-through that opens up to 24m at its deepest. Inside, we often spot reef sharks resting, and there are lobsters tucked into the crevices. Outside the cave, look for big schools of bannerfish and the occasional barracuda cruising by. Visibility averages around 17m, which is decent enough for enjoying the rock wall scenery. It’s a good spot for divers comfortable with overhead environments and some moderate current, which can pick up here.
