Green Roofs, just off the Keys, gets its name from the thick turtle grass beds that dominate the shallows. Drop down a bit and you’re on a mixed patch reef, home to typical Keys residents like parrotfish, snapper, and the occasional moray eel peeking from a crevice. It’s a gentle dive, generally calm, making it a good spot for newer divers looking for an easy introduction to the local reefscape. Visibility here can vary, but on a good day, it’s a pleasant drift over the grass and coral patches.
