Why dive here
With 87+ marine species recorded in the area - including bull sharks, dolphins, hammerhead sharks, seahorses and sea turtles - Jolly Jacks offers some of Florida Keys's richest diving. Water ranges 19-32°C, warmest July, August, September.
Jolly Jacks is a decent spot if you're looking for something straightforward in the Upper Keys. We usually see plenty of smaller reef fish here, parrotfish and snapper mostly, alongside the usual corals. It’s a good choice for newer divers or anyone wanting a relaxed dive without much current to worry about. Think of it as a solid, dependable option for a second tank.
