Mandalay - Florida Keys
The Mandalay wreck sits upright in 24 metres of water, about five miles off the coast of Islamorada. This 30-metre steel-hulled freighter sank in 1966, an artificial reef now home to goliath grouper, barracuda, and schools of snapper. The wreck offers a good penetration opportunity for those with the right training, and the intact structure makes for interesting exploration for advanced open water divers.
