Octopus Club - Florida Keys
The Octopus Club, just offshore in the Florida Keys, offers a solid shore dive when conditions are right. You're looking at a sandy bottom, broken up by small patches of hard coral, mostly Star Coral. We’ve spotted plenty of juvenile fish here, like Spot Snappers, and even the occasional Scrawled Sole trying to blend in. It's a mellow spot, good for a relaxed afternoon with your camera, especially if you're keen on finding smaller critters. We'd suggest checking the tide charts; a slack tide makes for a much more enjoyable entry and exit.
