We love that they’re a proper full-service shop, not just a storefront. You can walk in for a mask, but also sign up for your sidemount cert or even get into spearfishing. This is a great place to get your Open Water Diver certification, especially if you’re a bit nervous. Their instructors are patient, make things fun, and really focus on comfort and safety. We’ve heard really good things about their gear fitting advice too – they actually take the time to make sure your BCD or wetsuit fits right, which makes all the difference when you’re learning. Our favourite thing about them is their commitment to local diving. They’re heavily involved in getting people out to some of North Carolina's lesser-known freshwater spots and quarries once you’re certified.
