Howard Chapin Reef AR-330 - 2 C-130 aircraft - North Carolina

Off the coast of North Carolina, the Howard Chapin Reef hosts two C-130 aircraft, making for an interesting wreck dive. We've found these wrecks provide good structure for sand tiger sharks and schooling baitfish, particularly in the warmer months. It’s a solid pick for divers comfortable with moderate depths and currents who want to explore some larger artificial reef structures. Visibility here can vary, but on a good day, the aircraft are quite a sight.
