Dahab Freedivers - Dahab
The team at Dahab Freedivers are the real deal, no question. We’ve spent enough time in Dahab to know a good operation, and these guys consistently deliver. They specialise in freediving, obviously, and they do it with a relaxed but seriously professional vibe. If you’re looking to get into freediving, or push your depths with a centre that prioritises safety and solid technique over shortcuts, this is our pick. Their setup right on the beach, practically at Lighthouse, is super convenient. You can roll out of bed, grab a coffee, and be in the water for a session within minutes. We love that they’ve got a proper classroom for theory – no squinting at a laptop screen in a cafe – and the hot showers after a long session are a small luxury we always appreciate. They really excel at making you feel comfortable in the water, whether you’re just learning to hold your breath for a minute or trying to hit some serious depth. We’ve watched them guide students through some incredible progress, always with a calm, encouraging manner. It’s not about ego here, it’s about safe, progressive learning, and that’s why we’d send any friend here in a heartbeat.
