Marsa Shagra’s house reef offers a comfortable shore entry, straight into a shallow, sandy expanse perfect for getting your bearings. Head north or south and the reef wall drops gradually, holding plenty of Red Sea regulars like parrotfish and surgeonfish. We’ve seen bottlenose dolphins cruising through the bay, especially on those calm early morning dives, a real treat when it happens. With a maximum depth of 19 metres and generally good visibility, it’s a site that works well for new divers finding their fins, but also makes for a relaxing second dive for anyone.
