Shaab Alaya, in Egypt's Deep South, is a gentle spot perfect for new divers finding their fins. The reef stretches down to about 20 meters, making it an easy drift along its wall. You'll often see schools of bannerfish and goatfish milling about, and it's a good place to spot turtles browsing the coral. It’s a relaxed dive, ideal for those building confidence.
