Sheik Malek is a shallow, sheltered bay, perfect for those just getting comfortable with their buoyancy. The main draw here is the soft coral garden that spills across the sandy bottom. Look for scorpionfish camouflaged on the rocks and the occasional blue-spotted ray cruising past. It's a gentle introduction to the Red Sea, ideal for check dives or a relaxed afternoon with the camera.
