Banana Reef is a reliable spot just a quick boat ride from Hurghada. It’s an easy drift along a long, banana-shaped reef that sits shallow, making it perfect for those wanting a relaxed dive. We often find good schools of blackstriped cardinalfish sheltering in the coral heads, and there are always plenty of dusky wrasse darting around. Keep an eye out for the smaller stuff too, like the crested sabretooth blenny. It’s a decent option if you’re looking for a straightforward, pleasant dive without too much fuss.
