Ben El Gebel - Hurghada

Ben El Gebel is one of those Hurghada sites that often gets used as a second dive, but it can surprise you. It’s a mooring spot, so expect a handful of boats, but the reef itself has some decent pockets. We’ve had good luck spotting blennies here – the Blackline Fangblenny and Bluebell Blenny are common if you take your time and look closely in the rubble. Keep an eye out for the Dusky Wrasse too, often patrolling the reef edge. It’s a pretty easy dive, good for getting back in the water or for divers who enjoy a relaxed pace without strong currents.
