Shaab Nenad - Hurghada

Shaab Nenad is one of those Hurghada sites that doesn’t always make the headlines, but consistently delivers a solid dive. We often find ourselves drifting along the main reef wall, keeping an eye out for the big schools of drummers and grey sweetlips that hang around the deeper sections. It’s a good spot for spotting some of the smaller, shyer stuff too, like the smooth-fin blennies peeking out from their holes. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a fleeting glimpse of a false killer whale or a pod of Indian Ocean bottlenose dolphins passing through the blue. It’s a comfortable, relaxed dive, perfect for a second or third dive of the day when you’re just enjoying being in the water.
