Tank museum - Hurghada

Hurghada’s Tank Museum is exactly what it sounds like: a collection of old military vehicles dumped into the sea. It's an artificial reef project, and we've watched it slowly come to life over the years. You'll descend onto tanks, armoured personnel carriers, and even a helicopter, all arranged in neat rows on the sandy bottom. The metal structures are steadily attracting new residents; we’ve spotted Grey Sweetlips sheltering in the hulls and schools of Sleek Unicornfish darting around the turrets. It’s a quirky dive, probably best for photographers looking for something a bit different or those who appreciate the unusual side of reef development.
