El Mohgar is a reef dive where divers can encounter humpback whales, spinner dolphins and whale sharks. Water ranges 22-30°C, warmest July, August, September.
El Mohgar, off Safaga, makes for a straightforward intermediate dive. We've found it's generally a gentle drift along a sloping reef, dropping to around 21 metres. Expect to see plenty of the usual Red Sea suspects like angelfish and triggerfish amongst the hard corals. It’s a solid option for a relaxed second dive or for those building confidence.
