Nemo - Safaga

Nemo, just off Safaga, is a site we’ve always found a bit understated, but reliably good for a relaxed dive. The real draw here isn't big pelagics, though we’ve been lucky enough to spot Indian Ocean bottlenose dolphins cruising by on occasion. What you'll consistently find is a surprisingly busy bottom, especially if you take the time to really look. We’ve spent solid minutes watching brownbar snapping shrimp tend to their burrows, and the seagrass beds are a nursery for juvenile fish. It’s a cracker of a spot for photographers keen on macro subjects, or anyone just wanting an easy, pleasant dive away from the bustle.
