Why dive here
Amphoras is a dive where divers can encounter dolphins, spinner dolphins and whale sharks. Water ranges 23-30°C, warmest July, August, September.
Amphoras is a solid introductory dive in Sharm, good for those still building confidence. We usually stick to the shallow coral gardens, where plenty of bannerfish and angelfish flit between the bommies. It's a relaxed spot, typically without strong currents, making it ideal for longer bottom times and practicing buoyancy. Expect a gentle drift along the main reef, dropping to around 20 metres.
