Gordon reef - Sharm el-Sheikh

Gordon Reef often feels like a warm-up act for the Straits of Tiran, but it holds its own, especially with a bit of current to liven things up. We usually drop in near the north end, letting the water carry us past the scattered coral heads and the occasional gorgonian fan. Keep an eye out for the resident cowfish – they’re always a bit of a quirky find – and if you’re lucky, you might even spot a pod of dolphins cruising by in the deeper blue. It’s a solid dive for those who appreciate consistent reef action without anything too demanding.
