Ras Gomaa is a dive where divers can encounter dolphins, spinner dolphins and whale sharks. Water ranges 23-30°C, warmest July, August, September.
Ras Gomaa is a decent intermediate site near Sharm. We’ve found it’s a good spot for a second dive, usually after something a bit more dramatic. It’s a gentle slope down to 24 metres, with the usual suspects – parrotfish, wrasse, and plenty of anthias. If you’re looking for a relaxed dive with minimal current, this fits the bill.
