MAGID - Jeddah

The Magid, a tanker that ran aground, sits in remarkably shallow water just off Jeddah. At a maximum depth of five metres, it’s less a dive and more a snorkel, but don’t let that deter you. The ship’s superstructure still breaks the surface, creating a stark silhouette against the sky, while below, its hull is a haven for small reef fish. You can fin right over the main deck, peeking into what remains of the bridge, and watch parrotfish nibble on the encrusted metalwork. It's an easy, relaxing way to spend an afternoon, perfect for those wanting a straightforward wreck experience without the commitment of deeper diving.
