NAJD - Jeddah

The Najd, a carrier that caught fire and sank back in '74, now lies capsized at around 20 metres. It’s a big wreck, just over 110 metres long, which means you can spend a fair bit of time exploring its various sections. You’ll navigate around the hull and superstructure, seeing how the structure has shifted over the decades. Expect to find plenty of snapper and fusiliers hanging out in the darker corners, and the coral growth, while not extensive, does add some colour to the metal. It’s a good site for anyone who enjoys a proper wreck dive without extreme depth or current.
