NAWAL - Jeddah

The Nawal wreck sits in the Jeddah anchorage, a tanker that went down in 1987. At 64 metres long, it's a decent size, resting at a depth of 60 metres, so this one's for the technical crowd. We've explored the deck and bridge area, noting how quickly the Red Sea claims things; there's growth everywhere. You’ll spot a good number of snappers and fusiliers congregating around the superstructure, and lionfish often lurk in the shadows. It’s a solid dive for those who enjoy deeper wreck penetration and don't mind the reduced light, offering a real sense of history.
