JAMIL
Why dive here
JAMIL is a wreck dive where divers can encounter dolphins, sea turtles and whale sharks. Water ranges 22-35°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Jamil wreck, a sunken tug vessel, rests upright at 15 metres. It’s a good spot for newer wreck divers looking to get their fins wet on something manageable, or for those wanting a straightforward second dive. Expect to see some smaller schooling fish and perhaps a few crabs making homes in the superstructure. Keep an eye out for fishing lines; it’s a working wreck, not a pristine display.
