JASIM - Dubai & Abu Dhabi
The Jasim is a purpose-sunk tanker, sitting upright on the seabed at 22 metres. She went down back in 1986, courtesy of the UAE Armed Forces, and has since become a pretty decent artificial reef. You’ll find the 60-metre length of her hull home to plenty of snapper and fusiliers, often schooling around the superstructure. Penetration is possible for experienced wreck divers, with a few swim-throughs accessible if you're comfortable with overhead environments. We’d suggest this one for advanced divers looking for a bit of history and a break from the natural reefs. It’s a solid wreck dive, especially for the region.
