Walters Shoal
Why dive here
Walters Shoal is a reef dive where divers can encounter dolphins, sea turtles and whale sharks. Water ranges 22-35°C, warmest July, August, September.
Walters Shoal is a solid reef dive off the coast, a good option if you’re looking to get wet in the UAE. We’ve found it’s usually a relaxed drift, perfect for knocking out a few longer bottom times, particularly if the current picks up. You'll glide over a healthy mix of hard and soft corals, keeping an eye out for the usual suspects like parrotfish and some of the smaller reef sharks that cruise through. It’s a site that rewards patience; not a big pelagic show, but a consistent, enjoyable dive for anyone who appreciates a vibrant reefscape close to shore.
