MANAL - Fujairah

Manal isn’t a deep dive, sitting in just a couple of metres of water, but it’s a nice little wreck for a relaxed exploration. This tug went down in 1987, running aground, and since then it’s become a home for the usual suspects – lionfish lurking in the shadows, some morays tucked into crevices, and schools of snapper moving around the superstructure. It’s pretty broken up, but you can still make out the general shape, and the shallow depth means lots of ambient light, making it a good spot for newer divers to get a feel for wreck diving without the usual concerns of deeper sites or strong currents. We’ve found it’s a good second dive after a deeper site, or just a chill afternoon dip.
