Scubatec - Fujairah

The team at Scubatec are a dedicated bunch, real pros who know the Fujairah coastline like their own backyard. We always appreciate a dive centre that feels less like a business and more like a diving club, and Scubatec nails that vibe. If you’re looking to push your dive skills, they’re PADI 5 Star IDC, which means you’re in excellent hands for anything from your Open Water right up to instructor level. We’ve found their instructors incredibly patient, taking the time to really build confidence, especially with newer divers navigating the often-variable Gulf conditions. Our favourite part about diving with Scubatec is their passion for the local sites, even the less celebrated ones. They’ll often suggest heading out to Inchcape 1 and 2, and while the wrecks themselves are interesting, what we really love is the journey there. Keep an eye out for turtles on the surface swim, and once you descend, the sheer density of fusiliers and snapper around the structure is impressive. The visibility can swing, but when it’s good, those wrecks are buzzing. They’re also great at knowing when to hit sites like Martini Rock or Dibba Rock for the best light, especially if you’re hoping to spot a reef shark or two cruising past. Just make sure to chat with them about the tides; it makes a huge difference to the current on some of those deeper pinnacles.
