SALAKH 2 - Fujairah
Dropping onto Salakh 2, you’re met with the impressive outline of a container ship, sitting upright on the seabed at 27 metres. It's a proper wreck dive, with a few cargo holds open for a peek inside, though we’d suggest good buoyancy control if you’re planning on penetrating beyond the initial entry points. Look for the resident snapper schools around the superstructure and the occasional turtle cruising by. It’s a good site for divers comfortable with deeper dives and those who appreciate the quiet, almost eerie presence of a large wreck, knowing it's considered dangerous – adds a bit of an edge.
