ALTAY - Mar del Plata

The ALTAY is a shallow wreck, sitting at just 4m, right off Mar del Plata. It's an old fishing vessel, now largely broken up, but you can still make out the hull and some structural elements. We’ve seen conger eels in the deeper crevices and lots of small crabs scuttling across the plates. It’s a good spot for newer divers looking for their first wreck experience or for snorkelers keen to explore something historical in easy conditions.
