COLORIA - Mar del Plata

ColoRia isn't your typical wreck dive, and that's precisely why we love it. Forget deep, dark penetration. This is a shallow, surprisingly vibrant exploration right off Mar del Plata's coast, perfect for a relaxed dive when the ocean calms down. We're talking about a tugboat, the *ColoRia*, sitting upright in a mere four metres of water, almost daring you to swim around its entirety. The cool thing about ColoRia is its accessibility. You can practically snorkel it, but diving lets you really appreciate the details. The hull is a tapestry of life; we've seen everything from small blennies peering out of crevices to schools of silvery smelts darting between the decaying metal. Our favourite part is navigating the superstructure, tracing the outlines of what was once a wheelhouse, now colonised by anemones and sponges. Visibility here can be hit or miss, but on a good day, when the sun penetrates the green water, the wreck truly glows. It's an easy dive, a great second dive of the day, or just a fun way to spend an hour underwater appreciating how quickly the ocean reclaims its own.
