Sea Divers - Mar del Plata
The team at Sea Divers are the real deal if you’re looking to get serious about your PADI qualifications, or even start a career in diving. They're a 5 Star IDC centre, which means they can take you all the way from Open Water right up to Instructor Development. We’ve always appreciated their meticulous approach to training; it’s thorough without being intimidating, and the instructors clearly love what they do. What we really rate about Sea Divers, beyond the instruction, is their focus on the local environment. Mar del Plata diving has a unique charm, often cooler water and a rugged coastline that’s very different from tropical reefs. You’ll find yourself exploring kelp forests, spotting conger eels tucked into rocky crevices, and watching schools of hake dart past. It’s a completely different vibe, and Sea Divers prepares you perfectly for it. Our favourite dives with them often involve exploring the offshore shipwrecks, though conditions can be a bit variable out there. Keep an eye on the weather; a calm day makes all the difference for visibility. They also run Argentina's only PADI Freediver centre, which is a great option for building breath-hold skills that transfer well to any kind of diving.
