SHUDOKAN - Mar del Plata

The Shudokan wreck sits shallow, just off Mar del Plata’s coast, making it a surprisingly accessible dive for anyone keen on exploring a sunken yacht. At only three metres deep, it’s a brilliant spot for newer divers, or even snorkelers, to get a taste of wreck diving without any major challenges. We’ve found the yacht’s structure, still largely intact, provides plenty of nooks for small fish and crabs to hide, and it's a calm place to spend an hour just poking around the decking and superstructure. Visibility can vary with the coastal weather, but on a good day, the light plays nicely through the water, illuminating the growth that’s started to colonise the old vessel.
