SUPREMO ENTERRIANO - Mar del Plata

The Supremo Enterriano, once a motor vessel known as Presidente Alvear, met its end in 1973. It’s a shallow wreck, only a couple of metres deep, making it a great spot for snorkelers or very casual divers looking for an easy swim. What we really like about the Supremo is its age; built in 1871, it’s got a genuine sense of history. You won't find colourful corals here, but the metal structure itself is interesting, draped in algae and home to small schooling fish darting between the frames. It’s a decent way to spend an hour if you're in Mar del Plata and fancy a quick dip with a bit of a story.
