TATA YIBA - Mar del Plata

The Tata Yiba offers a genuinely unique shore dive in Mar del Plata. At a maximum depth of two metres, this isn't about crushing deco limits, it's about exploring a piece of maritime history colonised by the local sea life. We’re talking about the remains of a small fishing boat, sunk in 1953, where the hull and superstructure are still discernible. Look for small crabs scuttling across the rusted metal and the flashes of tiny schooling fish that use the wreck for shelter. It’s a fantastic site for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed, shallow dive with a bit of character.
