The Vanda wreck sits at a shallow 9 metres just off Mar del Plata, an accessible dive for many. It’s a broken, dangerous wreck, so we keep to the outside, but the structure attracts a surprising amount of local fish and crabs. The main draw here is the chance to explore a genuine shipwreck so close to shore, watching how the metal becomes a habitat. It’s a good option for those looking for a quick wreck dive without deep technical demands.
