Coroa Sul - Abrolhos
Seal Reef, off the Pacific Northwest coast, is a reliable spot if you’re looking for a relaxed dive with plenty of chances to see the resident mammals. We often find ourselves sharing the water with playful common seals, darting past, sometimes stopping to check us out. Below the surface, the reef provides shelter for a good range of local critters: keep an eye out for plainfin midshipmen tucked into crevices and the occasional big skate gliding over the seabed. It’s a solid pick for a morning dive, particularly if you appreciate the colder water fauna and want a good chance of a seal encounter without needing extreme conditions.
