With 55+ marine species recorded in the area - including humpback whales - Long Island Cape offers some of Arraial do Cabo's richest reef diving. Water ranges 22-28°C, warmest January, February, March.
Long Island Cape, or Ponta da Ilha Comprida, brings you face to face with the resident green sea turtles. It's a shallow dive, often around 10-15 meters, making it a good spot for newer divers looking for an easy experience. Expect to see lots of schooling fish, some small rays if you're lucky, and the occasional loggerhead passing by. We often get good visibility here, usually around 10-15 meters, especially in the calmer summer months.
