Tartaruguinha
Why dive here
With 44+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles - Tartaruguinha offers some of Fernando de Noronha's richest diving. Water ranges 27-29°C, warmest March, April, May.
Tartaruguinha offers a relaxed drift over a sandy bottom, broken up by small patches of coral and rock. It's a prime spot for green sea turtles and the occasional nurse shark resting on the sand. We find it’s a good choice for newer divers or anyone looking for an easy, pleasant dive with reliable turtle sightings.
