Farrel Reef, off Malpelo Island, delivers a solid reef dive. We usually see schooling hammerheads here, often patrolling the deeper sections. Currents can be strong, so it’s best for divers comfortable with drift diving and managing their buoyancy around the coral formations. Look for white-tip reef sharks resting on the sandy patches.
