Northwest Spot at Malpelo Island is a solid reef dive, pretty typical for the area. You'll find the usual suspects here: reef sharks cruising, maybe a hammerhead or two passing through the blue. It’s a good spot to get oriented if you're new to Malpelo's currents, offering a decent introduction without being overly demanding. We wouldn't call it a showstopper, but it reliably delivers a good dive.
