With 131+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, humpback whales, seals & sea lions, sea turtles and sperm whales - Coamaño offers some of Galápagos Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 23-28°C, warmest February, March, April.
Coamaño is a solid drift dive, often with a decent current. We often see white-tip reef sharks resting on the bottom, plus green sea turtles and the occasional eagle ray cruising by. It’s a good spot for divers comfortable with a bit of a push, offering reliable encounters with some classic Galápagos residents without being overly dramatic.
