Gardner Islet - Galápagos Islands
Gardner Islet is one of those spots near Española where you just ease into the water and let the Galápagos do its thing. We’ve had some truly mellow dives here, often spotting playful sea lions zipping through the shallower reef sections. Keep an eye out for the green and red marine iguanas unique to Española, sometimes they’re foraging right along the rocks at the surface. It’s a gentle introduction to the region for those newer to Galápagos diving, or a welcome relaxed drift after a more challenging current dive elsewhere.
