With 131+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, humpback whales, seals & sea lions, sea turtles and sperm whales - Punta Morena offers some of Galápagos Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 23-28°C, warmest February, March, April.
Punta Morena offers a solid dive for those exploring Isabela's coast. We often find playful sea lions zipping through the shallows here, and the lava flows create interesting swim-throughs to explore. It's a relaxed site, good for knocking out a couple of easy dives without too much fuss or strong current. A good option for newer divers or those looking for a laid-back afternoon.
