With 131+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, humpback whales, seals & sea lions, sea turtles and sperm whales - Roca Redonda offers some of Galápagos Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 23-28°C, warmest February, March, April.
Roca Redonda is a spot for divers keen on encountering larger pelagics in the Galápagos. The currents here can be robust, often bringing in schools of hammerheads, Galápagos sharks, and even mola mola if you're lucky. It's a dive best suited for experienced divers comfortable with drift diving and cooler water temperatures. We'd suggest keeping an eye out for patrolling tuna in the blue.
