Why dive here
With 131+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, humpback whales, seals & sea lions, sea turtles and sperm whales - Tower Rock offers some of Galápagos Islands's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 23-28°C, warmest February, March, April.
Tower Rock is one of those Galápagos pinnacles where the action tends to be around the deeper water. We usually drop in and descend straight away, looking for hammerheads and Galápagos sharks cruising past. Keep an eye out into the blue. It’s a site for divers comfortable with current and looking for big animal encounters.
