El Pelado, off Isla de la Plata, is a good pick for divers keen to see some bigger stuff. We’ve often spotted mobula rays cruising by, and it’s a reliable spot for green sea turtles munching on the reef. The currents here can be a bit lively, making it more suitable for divers comfortable with drift diving, but the pay-off is usually worth the effort. It’s a solid option if you’re looking for pelagics rather than intricate coral.
