JACKY - Lima & Palomino Islands
The JACKY wreck, a fishing vessel that went down in 1990, sits upright on the seabed at 50 meters, a proper deep dive for those with the training. What was once a working boat is now a robust artificial reef. You’ll find an impressive covering of anemones and sponges on the hull, and we’ve often spotted large conger eels peeking out from darker sections. It’s a good wreck for penetration if you're comfortable, with open holds allowing for some exploration. Visibility here can vary, but on a good day, the profile of the JACKY against the deeper blue is quite striking.
